We are delighted to welcome Tracey Varnava to the Undergraduate Laws Programme Team as Associate Director – Programmes. Tracey comes to us from the Solicitors Regulation Authority where as Education Research Manager a major part of her role was to manage the Legal Education and Training review on behalf of the SRA, the Bar Standards Board and ILEX Professional Standards. Prior to this Tracey was Associate Director of the UK Centre for Legal Education (University of Warwick), which worked with law teachers, students, institutions and professional bodies at the academic and vocational stage to improve the student learning experience, and before that was Project Co-coordinator at the National Centre for Legal Education (University of Warwick). Tracey has a BA (Law) and MPhil (Criminology) and has lectured in Criminal Law, Criminal Justice and Criminology.
Tracey will add significant strength to the development and implementation of strategy and policies to support the ongoing enhancement of the laws programme in this period of rapid change in the national and international higher education landscape.
