LLB Graduation in Kenya Prison

Students in prisons in Kenya and Uganda are celebrating their exam results and the addition of new University of London LLB graduates from their number. These students are supported by African Prison Projects who help to secure tuition and additional resources required for their study. A Graduation Ceremony will take place in the Kamiti Maximum Security Prison, Nairobi, Kenya when sixteen prisoners and one prison officer, who have been studying our programme for the last few years, will be taking part. Patricia McKellar, Associate Dean, UG Laws, who visited the prison earlier this year, is delighted to be attending the Graduation on 31st October and welcomes the opportunity to be involved in this very special day in the lives of our students in the African prisons. You can read more about the students who study our programme with assistance from APP and their recent success in their Summer 2019 – Exam Results.
